Quantum Montessori’s Hybrid Homeschool Program is designed for families who want professional live instruction as part of their homeschool experience without enrolling in a comprehensive Full-Time Distance Learning program.
Students join Quantum Montessori Guides and educators for scheduled live, small-group classes Monday–Thursday, while families maintain responsibility for the student’s homeschool education outside of the Quantum Montessori courses in which the student is enrolled.
Choose Part-Time Hybrid with 1–3 classes or Full-Time Hybrid with five core classes plus one optional elective.
Students receive live instruction, Canvas course access, associated coursework, academic resources, feedback, and support for their enrolled Quantum Montessori classes.

Part-Time Hybrid is designed for families who manage their homeschool program but want Quantum Montessori educators to directly teach selected subjects.

For Part-Time Hybrid, the parent remains responsible for subjects and educational requirements outside of the student’s selected Quantum Montessori classes.
Full-Time Hybrid | 5 Core Classes + 1 Optional Elective
Full-Time Hybrid provides a broader live instructional experience within our Hybrid Homeschool schedule.
Students participate in five core academic classes:

Full-Time Hybrid is designed for families who want Quantum Montessori teaching the student’s primary academic subjects while preserving a shorter, homeschool-friendly instructional day.
Full-Time Hybrid is not the same as Full-Time Distance Learning.
Families seeking Quantum Montessori’s most comprehensive level of day-to-day educational support should explore our Full-Time Distance Learning Program, which provides a structured eight-hour Monday–Thursday learning window incorporating live instruction, Montessori work cycles, independent coursework, projects, research, hands-on learning, Practical Life, assessment, portfolio work, breaks, and movement. This distinction is also made explicitly in the current Program Guide.
The Hybrid Schedule
Hybrid Homeschool classes are offered Monday–Thursday within scheduled three-hour instructional blocks.
The three-hour block represents the available Hybrid instructional schedule. It does not mean every Hybrid student attends three continuous hours of live classes each day.
A student’s actual live-class schedule depends on:
- Grade level
- Number of classes selected
- Subjects selected
- Current class schedule
- Class availability
Part-Time students attend the live classes associated with their selected courses.
Full-Time Hybrid students participate in the scheduled classes associated with their five core subjects and optional elective.

Required books, Montessori materials, manipulatives, science supplies, art supplies, and other physical resources may need to be purchased separately by the family.
How Hybrid Learning Works
Live Instruction
Students meet with Quantum Montessori Guides and educators for scheduled live classes.
Live instruction may include direct academic lessons, Montessori presentations, guided practice, discussion, collaboration, questions and clarification, student presentations, academic coaching, projects, and feedback.
Our classes are intentionally interactive.
Students are not simply logging in to watch a lecture. They are expected to participate, think, discuss, practice, ask questions, and increasingly take responsibility for their learning.
Independent Coursework
Learning continues beyond the live class.
Students may receive assignments, reading, writing, practice, research, projects, experiments, or other independent work associated with their enrolled courses.
Assignments, instructions, and course resources are organized through Canvas. Students are expected to complete assigned work outside of live class as appropriate for the course.
Home Learning
Hybrid Homeschool remains a partnership with the family.
For Part-Time Hybrid students, parents remain responsible for planning and implementing the portions of the student’s homeschool education that are not included in the selected Quantum Montessori courses.
For Full-Time Hybrid students, Quantum Montessori provides live instruction across the five core academic classes, while families continue providing the home learning environment, required materials, routines, attendance support, and age-appropriate assistance necessary for successful learning.

The Parent’s Role
Hybrid Homeschool provides professional instruction without removing the family from the homeschool experience.
Parents are responsible for maintaining an appropriate home learning environment, ensuring students attend their scheduled classes, helping students maintain appropriate routines, providing required books and materials, supporting completion of independent coursework as needed, monitoring Canvas and program communications, communicating with Guides when concerns arise, and managing educational subjects outside of Quantum Montessori enrollment when applicable.
The amount of direct parent assistance naturally varies according to the student’s age, maturity, learning needs, and level of independence.
This division of responsibility is consistent with the current program description: Hybrid families remain responsible for learning outside enrolled Quantum Montessori courses.
Academic Work & Portfolio
Students may complete assignments, projects, assessments, presentations, research, written work, hands-on investigations, and other demonstrations of learning within their Quantum Montessori courses.
Applicable student work may be retained as part of the student’s academic portfolio.
For Part-Time Hybrid students, Quantum Montessori’s academic records reflect the courses and work completed through Quantum Montessori and should not be interpreted as documentation of the student’s entire homeschool program.

Full-Time Distance Learning
A comprehensive learning day from home.
Students participate Monday–Thursday in an eight-hour learning window combining live instruction, Montessori work cycles, independent coursework, projects, research, hands-on learning, Practical Life, assessment, portfolio work, breaks, and movement.
It is designed for families who want Quantum Montessori taking the most comprehensive role in the student’s day-to-day educational program.

The Full-Time Hybrid Family Investment includes enrollment in all five core academic classes plus access to one available elective.
Elective availability varies by grade level, term, schedule, enrollment, and availability.
These rates match the current 2026–2027 listing materials.
3-Month Initial Commitment • Successive 3-Month Renewal Terms
Administration Fee & Enrollment
A non-refundable Administration Fee equal to one month of the student’s applicable Family Investment is required at initial enrollment and annually thereafter.
For Part-Time Hybrid, the Administration Fee is based on the student’s grade level and number of selected classes.
For Full-Time Hybrid, the Administration Fee equals one month of the applicable Full-Time Hybrid Family Investment.
The Administration Fee is separate from Family Investment and supports enrollment and academic setup, including family onboarding, student account creation, Canvas and course setup, class placement, academic record setup, schedule coordination, curriculum and course preparation, and initial family communication and orientation.
The Administration Fee is not applied toward the student’s first, final, or other Family Investment payments.
Family Investment Due at Enrollment
Families selecting the monthly payment arrangement pay:
Administration Fee + First Month’s Family Investment + Final Month’s Family Investment
The final-month payment is held and applied to the student’s final month of the applicable enrollment commitment.
Families selecting a quarterly, semester, or annual payment arrangement do not make a separate final-month payment. This final-month requirement for monthly-paying families is part of the current Family Investment terms.
Monthly Family Investment payments are due on the 1st of each month and are considered late after the 5th. The current Family Investment materials specify a $30 late fee and $35 returned-payment fee.
Three-Month Enrollment Commitment + Renewal
Hybrid Homeschool begins with an initial three-month enrollment commitment.
Following the initial term, enrollment automatically renews for successive three-month terms unless timely written withdrawal notice is provided according to the Family Enrollment Agreement.
Family Investment represents the family’s financial commitment for the applicable enrollment term. Monthly payments are a payment arrangement for that commitment and do not create month-to-month enrollment.
Because Hybrid enrollment reserves space within small live classes, families remain responsible for the Family Investment associated with their active enrollment term according to the Family Enrollment Agreement.
Written withdrawal notice must be provided by the applicable deadline in the Family Enrollment Agreement to prevent the next renewal. Withdrawal does not shorten an active enrollment term or eliminate amounts due for that term.
Families wishing to add, reduce, or change enrolled classes should contact Quantum Montessori. Class changes are subject to schedule availability, program requirements, and the applicable enrollment terms.
Third-Party Funding
Quantum Montessori accepts Arizona ESA for qualifying educational services. Eligible families remain responsible for following applicable ESA purchasing or reimbursement requirements and ensuring program balances are paid according to their enrollment terms.
Families using ESA funds, scholarships, grants, vouchers, reimbursements, or other third-party funding remain responsible for ensuring Quantum Montessori receives the full Family Investment and applicable fees by the required due dates, regardless of reimbursement schedules, delays, denials, funding decisions, or changes in eligibility.

Because Hybrid Homeschool includes scheduled live classes with limited class capacity, please contact Quantum Montessori before purchasing the Administration Fee if you have not already confirmed your student’s class and schedule availability.
Before enrolling, families should understand:
