A Guided Path to Joining Quantum Montessori

Choosing an educational program is a meaningful decision. Our enrollment process is designed to help families understand the program they are selecting, confirm that the level of support fits their needs, and give Quantum Montessori the information needed to prepare for the learner.

The exact process may vary slightly by program, but most families follow the steps below.

Step 1. Explore Your Program Options

Begin by reviewing our current learning programs and Family Investment information.

Quantum Montessori offers several different levels of educational support:

Independent Homeschool
You remain your child’s primary educator while Quantum Montessori provides individualized planning, curriculum sequencing, Canvas organization, and educational guidance.

Hybrid Homeschool
You homeschool while Quantum Montessori teaches the classes you choose through scheduled live instruction.

Full-Time Distance Learning
Quantum Montessori provides our most comprehensive learning-from-home experience through a structured Monday–Thursday learning day.

Learning Pods
Students participate in personalized, in-person Montessori learning within a small community-based setting.

The right program depends on how much teaching you want to provide yourself, how much you want Quantum Montessori to lead, and where you want your child to learn.

Step 2. Schedule a Parent Meeting

We strongly recommend scheduling a Parent Meeting before enrollment.

This is a one-on-one conversation designed to help us learn about your child and your family’s goals while giving you an opportunity to understand the program before making an enrollment commitment.

We may discuss:

  • Your child’s educational history
  • Current strengths and areas of concern
  • Learning habits and interests
  • Previous homeschool or school experiences
  • The level of parent involvement expected
  • Program differences
  • Live-class or schedule availability when applicable
  • Books and materials
  • Family Investment
  • Accommodations or additional support needs
  • Questions about how Quantum Montessori works

The goal is not simply to enroll a student. It is to make sure the family understands the educational model they are choosing.

Students Requiring Accommodations or Additional Support

If your child requires accommodations, has an IEP, has received educational or developmental evaluations, or may need specialized academic support, please provide that information before enrollment whenever possible.

Families may be asked to complete a pre-enrollment information form and provide relevant documentation so Quantum Montessori can determine whether the requested program can appropriately support the learner.

Providing documentation does not automatically guarantee that every requested accommodation or service can be provided.

If an additional independent assessment, specialist evaluation, consultation, or service is recommended, any applicable cost will be discussed with the family before that service is scheduled.

Step 3. Confirm Program, Schedule & Availability

Before enrollment, Quantum Montessori will help confirm the program the family intends to select.

For programs involving scheduled instruction, this may also include confirming:

  • Grade-level placement
  • Available classes
  • Subjects
  • Instructional block
  • Learning window
  • Learning Pod location
  • Learning Pod schedule
  • Current space availability

Independent Homeschool generally does not require live-class placement because parents provide the student’s day-to-day instruction. The program instead centers on individualized work-plan development and ongoing curriculum sequencing.

Step 4. Complete Enrollment Documents

Once your family is prepared to move forward, complete the applicable Quantum Montessori enrollment form and Family Enrollment Agreement.

Please review all enrollment documents carefully before signing.

The Family Enrollment Agreement contains the complete terms applicable to your family’s enrollment, including:

  • Program selection
  • Enrollment commitment
  • Family Investment
  • Administration Fee
  • Payment arrangements
  • Renewal terms
  • Withdrawal requirements
  • Family responsibilities
  • Quantum Montessori responsibilities
  • Applicable program policies

Enrollment becomes binding according to the terms of the applicable Family Enrollment Agreement once the required enrollment documents are completed and electronically signed.

Step 5. Administration Fee

A non-refundable Administration Fee equal to one month of the student’s applicable Family Investment is required at initial enrollment and annually thereafter.

The Administration Fee is separate from Family Investment and is not credited toward the student’s first month, final month, or another Family Investment payment.

The fee supports administrative and educational preparation that may include:

  • Family onboarding
  • Student account setup
  • Canvas setup
  • Academic record and portfolio setup
  • Program placement
  • Schedule coordination when applicable
  • Review of student information
  • Initial curriculum planning
  • Initial work-plan preparation when applicable
  • Family communication
  • Orientation and onboarding preparation

For Independent Homeschool specifically, the current program includes individualized work-plan development, ongoing curriculum sequencing, Canvas setup, portfolio organization, and parent educational support.

Step 6. Complete Your Student Profile

Families complete Quantum Montessori’s student profile or Getting to Know You information so we can understand the learner beyond a grade level.

Information may include:

  • Educational history
  • Academic strengths
  • Areas of concern
  • Interests
  • Learning preferences
  • Work habits
  • Independence
  • Social-emotional considerations
  • Family educational goals
  • Previous curriculum
  • Accommodations or support needs

This information helps us begin planning around the actual learner in front of us, rather than assuming that every child in the same grade needs the same educational path.

Step 7. Submit Relevant Records & Documentation, If Available

Previous educational records are helpful, but they are not required for your child to begin learning with Quantum Montessori.

If you have relevant records available, you may share them with us to give our educational team additional insight into your child’s previous learning experiences, academic history, strengths, areas that may need reinforcement, and prior support.

Depending on the learner, helpful records may include:

  • Previous report cards
  • Transcripts
  • Homeschool records
  • Previous curriculum information
  • IEPs
  • 504 Plans
  • Evaluations
  • Academic assessments
  • Therapy or specialist recommendations relevant to learning
  • High school credit documentation
  • Other records that may help with educational planning

Don’t have previous records? That’s okay. We can begin working with your child based on the information you provide, our observations, the student’s work, and what we learn about the student over time.

Records are simply an additional planning resource that can help us better understand where your child has been. They are not a prerequisite for beginning the program.

Step 8. Family Investment & Initial Payments

After the applicable enrollment documents are completed, Quantum Montessori will issue the family’s Family Investment invoice.

Families selecting the monthly payment arrangement are responsible for:

Administration Fee + First Month’s Family Investment + Final Month’s Family Investment

The final-month payment is held and applied to the student’s final month of the applicable enrollment commitment.

It is not an additional month of Family Investment.

Families selecting a quarterly, semester, or annual payment arrangement do not make a separate final-month payment.

Monthly Family Investment payments are due on the 1st of each month and are subject to the applicable payment terms in the Family Enrollment Agreement.

Family Investment represents the family’s financial commitment for the applicable enrollment term. Monthly payments are a payment arrangement and do not create month-to-month enrollment.

Step 9. Program Onboarding

Once enrollment and initial payment requirements are complete, your family will begin onboarding.

Onboarding varies according to the program selected.

  • Family expectations
  • Student expectations
  • Live-class practice
  • Schedule review
  • Academic placement activities
  • Assessments when appropriate

Monthly payment arrangements do not change the applicable enrollment commitment.

Written withdrawal must be submitted according to the deadline contained in the Family Enrollment Agreement to prevent the next renewal term.

A Different Process for Learning Pod Reservations

Because Learning Pods depend on location and available space, the first steps are slightly different.

Families joining an existing Learning Pod:

  1. Select the preferred available Learning Pod schedule.
  2. Submit the applicable non-refundable Administration Fee through the Learning Pod listing.
  3. Quantum Montessori confirms whether the student’s place is being held or the student is being placed on the applicable waitlist.
  4. The family receives and completes the Learning Pod enrollment form and Family Enrollment Agreement.
  5. Quantum Montessori issues the applicable Family Investment invoice.
  6. The family completes onboarding before the student’s start date.

Families interested in starting a new Learning Pod should contact Quantum Montessori rather than purchasing an existing-pod reservation option.

In-Home Educator arrangements are also handled through a separate enrollment pathway.

Before You Enroll

We encourage families to make sure they understand:

  • The program they are selecting
  • Who provides the student’s primary instruction
  • The amount of parent involvement expected
  • The applicable Family Investment
  • The non-refundable Administration Fee
  • The enrollment commitment
  • Renewal terms
  • Required books and materials
  • Schedule expectations
  • What Quantum Montessori does and does not provide

If you are unsure which program is right for your family, schedule a Parent Meeting before enrolling.d assessments, your child will dive into their regular learning schedule starting in Week 2.
